mass civic today was awesome :)

Lionel showed us a video which featured Dewitt Jones,
a National Geographic Photographer for more than 20 years.
It was about what he has learnt while taking photographs of people,
mother nature, and this world.
He pointed out a few things which really made a lot of sense to me. I start to question myself too.
His perspective of viewing the world positively and making time out of limited time tells me that
i can too, persevere despite undesirable circumstances.
Vision controls Perception. & Perception becomes reality.
I never really understood the importance of having a vision in my life.
However, i've learnt today that having a vision, would give you a goal.
It can act as a reminder to myself, that end the of the day, i would like to be
such a person. Hence, push on, Zhi Ting.
And then the question comes, "Can i trust my own values and vision enough to step
out of my edge?"
it takes courage, faith. And as humans, sometimes all these motivation just
do not appear. That's why i become skeptical of my own abilities, right?
Dewitt Jones said, "No matter how desperate we are, as long as there is a glimmer
of hope, we can keep on going". This is perseverance. This is persistence. This is not giving up.
This is hoping. During this process, it's not easy, there would be ups and downs, happy and sad moments.
And how are we going to deal with all these?
"By celebrating the best, that allows us to fall in love with it. By celebrating the best, we have the energy
to fix what's wrong."
I really really think this is veryyyyyyyyyyy impactful. It's a wonder that by putting such simple, individual
words together, they can form something so meaningful and encouraging :D
yes, we'll keep on going, keep on going.

lectures, tutorials, invest aar, homework, revision and so on :D

but even if you are not as happy and nice as i hope you would be,
it's ok :) i won't blame you. hmmm, but i will believe that you have your
own reasons, and that you are probably training me to become a stronger person :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOROTHY CHEONG! :D
12th September 2010!
alright lets blog :D
it's school tomorrow!
i'm really excited yet i feel kind of haizzzzzzzzzzzz as well.
hahahhh so ironic right! BUT, this seems to happen in every teen :D
You love school because you can see, talk, smile, laugh with your friends.
You don't love school as much because you have to deal with all the
competition, piles of homework, exams :S, tests, notsointeresting lectures
:D
heez :D
well, i guess its all these happiness and notmuchofahappiness that make school
lively, memorable and "school".
:D
i think i love school more each day :D
Because i know i love my friends and teachers more and more each day.
hmm.. so means i would end up loving exams more and more each day??
interesting :D
Anyway, 10 things i loveeee about this Sept holiday:
1) I watched 4 episodes of MISCHIEVIOUS KISS! :D
2) I laughed, smiled and really Laughed A Lot! :D:D:D:D
3) I went for dinner with VIVIAN KEH, ROY YEO, MALCOLM CHOO AND KOH SHIWEI! :D
4) Ah Bin korkor and family came over to Ahma house today! AND I MET RYAN AND
BRYANNE! He's still really really cute and i loved the way he sat soo
comfortably on the POOH Chair! :D
5) Wai Po cooked CURRY CHICKEN! :D
6) I ate KU CHAI KUEH!!!!! :D:D:D
7) Mummy was really really kind and nice to bring me to the doctor despite it
being quite late in the night
8) Mummy and me got lost among the terrace houses in Toh tuck area. We followed a
Police Car and in the end, both cars ended up in a DEAD END. It was hilarious :D
9) I ate KOREAN FOOD and Auntie Kim's Korean Restaurant! the KIMCHI SOUP
is really the best i've tasted and the seafood pancake was AWESOMEAWESOMEAWESOME!!

10) I went to study with TKT at her house! :D and it was really funnnnn:D
I enjoyed my holidays :)
Although i admit i was really slack and was not really in the chionging mood
to mug for promos.

Whenever i see you smile, i try my best to hold mine back.
And if i fail to, i would laugh out loud, and whip out any reason from the back of my head.

I really admire those people who have a goal in mind, a dream they would like to work towards to, and at the end of the day, achieve. They are so certain and so motivated to work towards that destination.:D
And I, got to learn from them. In many school camps, workshops, trainers always
tell us to do goal settings and be forward looking.
From all these experiences, it is expected for us to learn and apply the skills
to our own lives, and set our own goals. but somehow, i do not know if i am a stone,
rock, or noob, but i cannot seem to find The Thing i really want to do in life.
As Minister Lim Swee Say told us during mass civic a few weeks back,
"You can never be sure that your passion would last you for your lifetime, but at any point time, do not do anything half-heartedly, or else you would not go far."
In some sense, i do feel assured by what he said, but that's probably because i
do not know where my passion truly lies in.
It's like a ultra mega powerful pendulum. Swinging up and down soooo vigorously that
it takes really really really really long to stop and reach a stable point.
what do you call this? indecisive? fickle-minded?
After all, everyone would want to do something which he or she loves and enjoy.
My dream is to __________________________!
I really hope oneday, I can fill up the blank above with pride and have the motivation to work towards it.
:D
Anyway, a bigbigbig Thankyou to LENA TOH SZE ZHUO for giving me the chance
to be emcee for today's mass civic session :)
It was really enjoyable and a good learning experience :)
The music by the SAF MDC were really awesome :)

ohman. amazed. a little guilty. happy.

Well, i have many goals for today!:D
1) Complete App of Integration
2) Complete Study group stuffs :)
3) Revise MATHS! PRACTICE!
4) Chem 10.2 and 10.3 :D
5) Physics MCQ :D:D

Yesterday was Eve of teachers' day.
And the celebration at AJ was really really nice :)
Congratulations to the TEACHERS' DAY ADHOC!
Awesome job done!!:D
We went back to our secondary schools too :D
And i saw all my wonderful teachers!
I realised how fast time has passed. It is already AUGUST!
I still remember how nervous and ohmanzichfjifchuazzxzx i felt last year
in August. OLEVELS! :D
hahah :)
To think back now, ahhhhh i'm glad i experienced it :D
I'm glad i pulled through it!
Of course, it's definitely not a my own effort.
Many people around me played really really important roles!! :D
and yes, i believe it was my two Ah Gongs who gave me the doubly-powerful
strength to keep moving on. :)
