And yes, it was fantabulous because of the company :D Pap, Ma, Shengy and Desiree :D:D
Thank You :D
10 days of UK is a lot to blog about, so I would blog about the crazy, super duper nice and my favourite parts only alright :D:D For the rest, if you have enough patience, you can go through the thick virtual album on Facebook to let the photos talk to you :D:D hehe~
My favourite accomodation throughout the trip - the one I took most photos at - is Windy Ridge!! :D Our first B&B venue at Cotswolds :D Firstly, Pap and Ma had a super tough time figuring out how to get to the place, and only after we FINALLY REACHED that we understood why. hahaahah! :D I think we spent at least 45minutes figuring out? Crazyyyyyy :P and it was the first time we felt our teeth clatter uncontrollably in the cold wind!
When we reached, we saw the house and we were Wow, looks really cosy and nice :D
and we stepped in, OHMY OHMY. It was nothing I expected!! When Nick (the house's owner) brought us to our room, I SQUEALED! It was so so so so unbelievable and "dreamy"!!! Like a scene I only see in movies (this happened MANY TIMES throughout the trip)!! Here are some photos :D They actually on fb too :D hehehe
OUR DREAM ROOM
OHMYOHMY
Snacks, coffee and tea :D the border cookies are SUPERLICIOUS :D
While walking excitedly to my parents' room, WE FOUND A GATE. A GATE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HALLWAY. SERIOUSLY?!?? Immediately, takes out camera and snap snap!!! :P
A really cute book shelf :D
the garden outside :D THIS IS JUST A SMALL PART OF THE ENTIRE GARDEN HAHHAHA!
Hunger Games?? :P hehehehe!
Perfect for a cool morning walk :D
the view of the house from the garden :D:D
The food was super duper tooooo :D:D A WHOLE PLATE OF SUPER DELICIOUS AND SWEET STRAWBERRIES!!!! I ATE SOOOOO MANY OK! and da bao-ed some to the car hahahhaa! the next morning, the quantity was obviously smaller, so I was aww mannn cannot eat too many
hahahha! really good :D
the best croissant I've ever eaten!! SOOOO GOOD!
My first breakfirst!! POACHED EGGS ON TOASTS! :D mushrooms from Shengy hehehhe~~
Our trip, being free and easy, did not go as planned all the way, but that was the exciting and crazy part hehe! The most major hiccup happened at our second stop after Cotswolds, where we mistook Chesterfield as Chester and booked a B&B in the former! I was really excited to go Chester,
as I heard it was a Roman City!! :D
In the end, we still went to Chesterfield and IT WAS SUPER AWESOME.
It was one of the most memorable part for me during the entire trip :D We visited a really beautiful house (SUPER HUGE AND GIGANTIC ONE) which caught us off guard the moment Pap drove the car into the compound. I have no idea how to explain its beauty. It is extremely large, and upon driving in, the first things we saw were not buildings but vast lands with sheep everywhere!!!! :D and they were always always looking down, eating and eating hahaha :P The driving-in journey was filled with crazy WAH WOW OHMY by all of us hhaahah :P
After driving in, there is this really really huge victorian-style building, which was lived by many important people in the past. Visitors were allowed to go in!! :D
While walking around the MEGA HUGE garden, lake and up a hill, it felt really peaceful and serene :)
Perhaps because it is such a large area and is located in the countryside.
I was really awed by it :D:D
shall continue again soon :D thanks for reading :):)
