4th June was the day i really cherish! :D

A few days back, Mummy asked me to choose a movie to watch on the coming Saturday, which was yesterday! :D
yup, i chose XMEN First Class :D obviouslyyyyyy right. cause Insidious is toooo scary and Gong Fu Xiong Mao is too kiddy Mama and Dadddd :D

We all met at Plaza Sing and ate dinner at Lao Bei Jing :D hahhahahh!
i went toilet 3 times throughout the whole dinner. -.-

foood was really awesome, thanks to Mum's finest selection :P

I would say it is really special :D Because it has been really really long since we've spent such 'real time' together, without much work and studies getting in the way.
My dad often tells us to learn how to let go and to say no to certain things so as to be able to reach out for the things we cherish most in life. Sounds really logical, really easy, but the fact is, it is not.
Reason being, we're all afraid of the consequences of letting go and making sacrifices.

And i do not exclude myself from that league.

I know i still have a long road to continue, so i won't give up. Especially when i know you've always been looking over me :)

You know, it's not easy to forget as how others may tell you to, it's not as simple as it seems to let go, it's not as comfortable as it may look to smile, it's not as enjoyable as it sounds to laugh.

Impression may make a difference, but the intention is what counts.

When we expect ourselves to achieve a goal, we work for it.
When we hope that we do well, we work towards it.
When we feel scared that we fail, we tell each other we won't because we can do it.
When the stage is ours and we are overwhelmed by anxiety for the outcome of our hardwork, we look at each other and tell ourselves to do our best.
When we do not do as well as expected, we feel disappointed, angry, sad, and look back to wonder what we have done that resulted us in this particular situation.
When we do not do as well as expected, tongues wag, faces change, and gossips start flying all over the place.
While walking around like any other student in school, others look at us like we have just committed a crime. Their helplessness and worries are written on their faces, and we start feeling annoyed at them being so overly exaggerated. We wonder, why do they have to act like they care? Why do they have to show that sad expression when it is not them who lost the battle? Why do they have to present themselves in such a way like as if they know how we feel and they can emphatise very well with us?

Yes perhaps you were once part of the group of 'us'/'we', or you tend to fall in that group now/last time when you meet/met similar circumstances. I confess that I used to fall into this group when I failed to reach my target or a target which others expected me to. It's an ugly side, to have such thoughts and perception of others when I did not even know what were going through their minds.

Their helplessness and worries could most likely be genuine, because after all, we are all in the same environment. Someone had let me to realise that at such juctures, it is only wise and fair for ourselves and for others if we set our minds to sink into a sea of positive thoughts. Many may act strangely towards you not because you have done something wrong, but because they are afraid they would hurt you. Many may change their attitude towards you not because you have done below expectations or that they look down on you, but because they are trying to adapt to your feelings and tone. Many may become more helpful than before not because they feel superior, but because they have faith that you can do better and would like to play a part in pushing you towards your largest potential.

Different People, with Different Characters

It's a little scary to see how different people could have a personality, a character so different from each other. I would used to think that every human, would at least have some things in common, especially the most basic values and principles in life, as well as their feelings towards certain situations. Take for example, if one hurts another person verbally, guilt would take its position, and that person would try not to do it again. Such a scene, was a natural reaction I presumed everyone would have when they meet such a situation.

However, I was kind of wrong. Maybe, it only applied to most people.

It's weird, and unbelievable?
I am surprised by the fact how some people can be so insensible that they are pretty insensitive towards others.

You would probably never realise you have hurt someone, nor would you ever feel the sense of guilt. Your words, actions, laughter, gossips, etc, may be so hurtful to the extent that you may even change someone's life. This change, I hope, would always be the positive one, and that is making that person, or should I say, your target, stronger in the mind and more motivated to become a better person. At least, this would put you in a positive light because someone with a positive outlook in life has managed to resist your comments, and is now a stronger person.

It's sad huh. And sometimes, I think I would pity you.

i felt overwhelmed with guilt although i was probably not even given the rights to feel remorseful about it. Because the fact was, i cheated. right in your face huh -.-
& during the whole time, it did not cross my mind about being honest and the real

Ms Ewe is right. She doesn't need us to do a test for show, but so that she can understand and see the areas which we are still unsure of. Yet, we didn't spare a thought for her. I did not spare a thought for her.
My satisfaction came first. To think about it now, this satisfaction is really small, and it made me ponder, was it worth it?

Unspoken Thoughts :)

At times, i really feel like boxing myself. facebook is horrible :( because it is addictive =.= aww man. how is brain so easily affected by this thing. Anyway, i am lagging behind and this is EQUALLY HORRIBLEEEE. jiayou zhiting :D push on! i keep telling myself this, and somehow i think it works :D:D heehee. because i start to smile to myself - craziness - and laugh to myself :O

i often wonder why people behave differently in front of different people, including myself. my tone, my speech, my thoughts, my actions, my attitude. They differ, although it may not be obvious to others, but i realise how they change when i speak to different people - my parents, brother, friends, teachers, strangers :D haahaa!

Perhaps it depends greatly on the impression i would like to people around me to have on me. that's why they tend to differ. is this what everyone always say, being ingenuine? such a characteristic of myself has inevitably made me doubt my principles and what i believe in - being sincere :) And very often, i get the impression that people think i am trying too hard :/
By putting myself down in such a way is so weird, and so not healthy? i have no idea why i am putting all these feelings into words now. of all times, why now? Haha :) But it seems like i have longed gotten used of feeling this way, hence i do not feel hurt or sad anymore :)

i guess this is all a blessing in disguise. Mummy used to say, "You get to experience so many things which others do not even have the chance to think about, so why dwell about things that make you feel upset and awful? Focus on the brighter things in life, smile at even the littlest thing that is given to you, because you never know of anyone out there who is yearning for what you have more than you can ever think of."
