Wednesday afternoon with Dorothy in town was a relaxed one hehe! :D

We intended to go for facial at my Aunt's place, but due to some miscommunication, we did not in the end :D heee.
Walked over to Paragon and settled down at Starbucks :D
While she worked on her homejoy, I read a really interesting magazine which was placed at the rack in Starbucks!
It was about Singapore :D
Atas food, hawker food, fashion and even Mama shops :P hehehe! :D
Had a nice time sipping my green tea frappe and reading about my beautiful country :P awwwww~
Lunch? Chicken rice at Far East Plaza!~

Nice Tuesday

Today was mostly working on my personal project which Paul (my tch from British Council) assigned to us :D hehe! and I finally brainstormed an absolutely awesome question which I have lots of interest in :D

hello to you :)

this weekend (that has just has passed) has been really awesome and niceeeeeeeeee :D

Saturday morning was queuing up for 3hours for a freaking warehouse sale which we did not enter in the end. I sound like I am complaining. hahahah! but I'm not la! :)
I don't regret heading down, and I expected this outcome despite a part me hoping Singaporeans would rather sleep in than queue.

okay yeah it was really hot and our legs ached, but it was a rather interesting experience hahahaha :)
For one, I love (SUPER LOVE) sales. hehehe!
& if people can spent soooo long queuing up for other things like concert tickets, I totally feel that I can queue up #likeaboss for a warehouse sale. HAHAHA :)
When I got home and told Mama that I did not even have a glance at the products on sale, she just laughed at me. tsk! But still thanks for fetching us there :)

Saturday evening was the super zhai CJ Concert 2012!
really super duper li hai :D
There was KPOP, CPOP, EPOP hahahhah :D
Featuring Viv K and Kityee! :D and many many many other super duper talented and hardworking dancers and singers :)
I enjoyed myself tremendously (acting cheem) throughout the concert, and am reeeeally proud of YOU girl! :) Really really happy for you tooo!! Because I know this is one huge step nearer to your dream :D

Rock of Ages is a comedy musical, and it was good :)
Although the plot was not very interesting (more of predictable), but there were superb actors and actresses and extremely good music which complemented the former :D HEHE

At night, was a birthday zi char buffet dinner at Ahma's house to celebrate Da ge's and Xiao gu gu's belated birthday :D It was so fun hahaha :) I had a good time bickering and chatting and acting like we conquer the world with Zavier Ong, just like when we were young :P
Zachary was super duper cute toooo~
and he was wearing the Commando shirt I bought for him at the Army Market! It was an oversized tee for him hahahha! :D So ke ai!! :D
dinner was super duper toooo! 3 types of crab to savour and indulge okkkk!
I loved the SALTED EGG CRAB, SALTED EGG PRAWNS AND CEREAL PRAWNS MOST :D

Girls' Meet Up

6 HOURS KARAOKE W 0810 ZHA BORS, DINNER AT HOLLAND V AND SURPRISE FOR NEH  & MOK :P
It was a crazy, meaningful and happy meet up :)
We went for karaoke at Teoheng NTU Alumni Club, from 1 to 7pm! haahha my bro was saying, "Siao one".
GIRLS' POWER YEAHH!!!!!!!

hahahahaha :D Sang suuuuperrrrr lots of song (duh -.-), and at some parts went totally high and crazy together :P hahahha! but the place was rather cold, so I headed to the washroom soo many times hahah!
Ailing too :P Toilet buddies.
The 3 most crazy and funny moments were when we sang "We Are Young", "Starships" and "Titanium". All 3 we sang at least twice. So double the craziness and funniness :P hahahah!
REALLY VERY CRAZY.
WE SANG SUPER LOUD. ALMOST SHOUTING. HAHAHAH! & CHEERING. HAHAHH :)
but awesome la, good times :)
But not all 10 of us were able to make for both karaoke and dinner :/
Don't sad ok! WE WILL HAVE FULL REUNION SOON :)

Took the circle line down to Holland V afterwards for dinner! :D My second time at that place this week ZHAI OR NOT.

hahahh! Have not been there for quite some time, so it was really nice to go there with Ms Cheong :)
We ate bbq stingray and sambal kangkong at the coffee shop, and the price was pretty reasonable :P
Vegetables + Fish only, HEALTHY RIGHT :D hahahha!
then you look at the amount of sambal chilli on both dishes, uh hem hem! :P
& I got scammed for my barley!! :O

Today is goooodie good day :P
Woke up pretty early, and prepared to meet Mal's mum! :D We went to his camp at Hendon today for a Parents' engagement session! :D It was really really cool and woooooo-ish cause I got to experience for myself how super far in that camp is in Changi HAHAHHAHA! & got to see how his camp's environment and bunk look like, eat the food there and learn more about their trainings from the Officers and Major (or dua pai) in the force :P
The "Big people" all seemed nice and friendly, but I know they may be reeeeally scary, fierce and strict  
when it comes to training and book out timings :S
One of the officers in a video mentioned about some things which I felt was really nice :) I don't remember the exact words but they something like:
"Commando is about passion" & "You must want to do it, or else you will never pull through"

I guess what he said is relevant to many many things we decide and choose to do in life right? :D

After we left the camp, headed over to ARMY MARKET at Beach Road! SUCH A SUPERRRR DUPERRRR COOL PLACE LAAA! :D HAHAHAHA!
I felt like I was in Malaysia or Bangkok :P there were many shops, some situated reeeeally close together such that the walkway becomes kind of narrow (like those in bangkok :P)! I guess about 70% of the shops sold mainly army stuffs - uniforms, badges, berets, hats, mesh tins, etc!
there were other shops which sold handmade items and really retro stuffs hahahah :P
For example we passed by this shop which was selling lots of denim items. There were pencil boxes and tote bags sewn from cut-out jeans and they were really cool hahahahh :P

2. Baking soda - better at removing plaque than normal toothpaste! So buy a toothpaste which has a higher amount of baking soda! Or brush your teeth using the baking soda straight from the supermarket~
3. Yogurt, milk, cheese - These dairy products have lactic acid which have the ability to prevent tooth decay! :D
4. Use a toothpaste which has ENAMEL protection :D

It started off Epic-ly and after that was Eating and Shopping like Queens hahhahahaha!

We planned to meet on 700. I would board the bus at Pending and call her immediately. Des would then run from her house to the bus stop, and she would board the bus I am already on.
However, things took the wrong turn when I forgot which stop was hers and she saw 700 pass by in front of her eyes while she was chionging to the bus stop. HAHAHAHHAHA!!
I quickly alighted and we waited for the next 700.
This time, she would board first HAHAHAHAHA :D

Headed to Orchard and intended to eat Ri Ben Cun Sushi buffet :P But it was kind of expensive :/
So went to check out Scape's Sakae, and I cannot believe both of us (stingy poots) actually happily and willingly OKAY LETS EAT SAKAE SUSHI BUFFET.
wahliao!!!! it was about 30 bucks per person manzz hahahhhah :)
but I am verrrrry sure that what we savored and enjoyed was more than what we paid for heeheehee~

During lunch, chatted and laughed over lots of stuffs. Especially Sec sch days hehehe~
Orchard was reeeeally crowded, flooded with many sec sch and jc students who were sooo happy thanks to  National Day :P I can recall going HIP HIP HOORAY for half-days and off-days from school! :)

The reason is to view the designs of Yayoi Kusama! :D A Japanese designer who collaborated with LV! :D
Des was really crazy over her and she elaborated to me about this designer's bio and her designs. Really interesting hehehe :)
The main thing of her designs is that they focus on Repetitive patterns. And it is said that these patterns are like a cure/form of ease to her in certain aspects. She was also related to Andy Warhol and other famous designers! The former had even used her concept and designs for his own without crediting her last time!
Still, all are good and talented designers, noobie me shouldn't comment. SHH!

That tan chi gui couldn't resist and tempted me to eat this Rasberry Cheescake at Coffee Bean!! :D
I was immediately tempted upon sighting it.

A lot of retro, old-school, 80s fashion clothes and accessories at really really low prices!
the shop I often drop by sells a lot of clothes which could be extra stocks, 2nd hand and sample pieces!
They are mostly of super good quality at prices which will make you I-Cannot-Not-Buy-This.
Once, I bought this fully denim romper at $5!!!
the denim is the thick and obviously durable kind, so I was ohmanzzxzx, BUY.

Des swiped out most of the retro tops there, each was selling at $5 hahhhahaha! :P
thinking about it now, it was kinda funny hahahhaha :P
I remember her saying: "that Uncle must be thinking why we buy so many things" 
I bought a navy blue polka dot knee length skirt with double lining at $10!
The material was super good and I really felt it was worth it man. haahahha :D

A leather belt for $12, sunshine yellow canvas bag for $7, black dress for $7.50.
Now, I am proud to say I have a Little Black Dress of my own hahhahahh :D
